Marché

I love going to Marchés (outdoor markets). The fuit and vegies are so much better looking. And there are all sorts of things to look at and buy. Everything from local cherries to shoes to fish to artisan bread and sometimes kitchen knick knacks and toys. (Thomas actually conned me into getting him a toy today).

Timmy also loves the outdoor markets. I caught him a few times reaching his little hand up to the level of the tables and grabbing things to eat. I had to dig a chewed cherry out of his mouth when I saw pink juice oozing out of the corner of his mouth. He got to eat cantalope samples, cherry tomatoes, and bright red strawberries. Thomas even tried a raspberry. He didn't like it though. I bought a baguette, and some fruit and vegies and we had a little picnic by the Eiffel Tower and by the Seine. Not a bad outing.

Here are just a few things we saw.
